A Serious Man- This dry black comedy with music from Jefferson Airplane, follows a midwestern jewish man and his family through the most typical family situations.... absolutely marvelous..!

Dustin Hoffman

DUSTIN HOFFMAN'S two best films

MARATHON MAN- John Schlesinger's thriller Marathon Man is beyond incredible. Besides the fact it was fabulously made, Dustin's performance as a marathon runner who some how gets himself in the middle of an international conspiracy with an exiled Natzi is fantastic. I was barely able to stay in my seat, very gruesome torture scenes but worth it!

THE GRADUATE- The Graduate is one of the best movies of all time. Not only was the music astonishing.. (Simon & Garfunkel) but Dustin's performance was perfection.. All time classic!

Misery

If you enjoyed the Shining, The Amityville Horror, or other eccentric thrillers you will LOVE Rob Reiner's movie... Misery!

Based on Stephen King's 1987 novel, Kathy Bates takes on the role of a deranged woman who is infatuated with an author by the name of Paul Sheldon which leads her to taking him hostage... you must see the movie for yourself but it is by far one of the creepiest movies i have seen of all time..! MUST see

Wes Anderson

The amount one can write about Wes Anderson*best director, producer and screen writer to ever live* is endless so i will just tell you what Wes Anderson films to watch: which is most of them.

The Life Aquatic: My personal favorite is eccentric and absolutely hysterical in the best way. You have to see this with your own eyes: besides a brilliant script and cast the cinematography is beautiful. The basic story revolves around Steve Zissou, a famous oceanographer whose best friend was mysteriously eaten at sea... you follow Steve and the Zissou team to find the creature and on the way they are confronted with pirates, enemies and a love triangle? Lots of drama aboard the Zissou ship...

The Royal Tenenbaums: The story of three gifted siblings and their dysfunctional family....just a masterpiece... you must see it for yourself. Uplifting, brilliant and hilarious!

The Squid and the Whale: Directed by Noah Baumbach but Produced by Wes Anderson: The story of two teenage boys dealing with their parents divorce resulting with one son siding with each parent.

PULP FICTION

Two Mobsters, a boxer, gangster wife, and diner bandits.. what more can you ask for?
Put all these classy characters together and it makes a hell of a movie...
Thank you Quentin Tarantino: you have truly altered the way i look at Samuel and John Travolta... no more fighting for Pinks right DANNY?
